Tejasswi Prakash played the role of Dhara in Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon ki Season 2 and shared her experiences about working in the show. “I am delighted to be associated with Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, as the plot is truly captivating. It brings me immense joy to contribute to this production. The supportive nature of my co-actors and the production house has been invaluable. Despite joining the show halfway through, I have seamlessly integrated into the cast, forging strong bonds with everyone involved.”
In the beginning, comparisons were drawn between the characters of Bhoomi, the former lead actress of the show, and Dhara, the current lead actress. When questioned about this, Tejasswi responded, “I had no apprehensions because Bhoomi and Dhara are completely distinct characters. They cannot be compared. I am fond of my role as Dhara and the various nuances it encompasses.”
Tejaswi admits feeling nervous on her first day of shooting, particularly when working alongside the senior actors of the show. However, with time she gained confidence and comfort when shooting scenes with the entire cast. “I was extremely scared on the first day, especially because my very first scene was with the legendary actress Aroona Irani. It was an intense angry sequence, which added to my nervousness. I was also determined not to require multiple takes for that scene, so I took a leap of faith and thankfully, everything turned out well. With eash passing episode I felt at ease with the entire cast, and gradually developed a strong bond.”
Tejaswi also shared views about her journey in the entertainment industry, “Since childhood, I had aspired to become an actress, but I was unsure of how to pursue a career in acting. I studied engineering, and during a college festival, photographs from the event were published in a newspaper. It was through those pictures that a production house noticed me and reached out for an audition. I took the opportunity and was fortunate enough to be selected for the show. From that point on, there was no looking back.”
